Strategic Plan

Our WHY Statement

"To be faithfully transformed in communion with God and others"

Progress and success require periodically assessing where you are, where you want to be, and how you will get there. Our aim is to undertake this systematic, ambitious and exciting process with excellence, focused on creating a spiritually thriving community. For many months we have worked joyfully and diligently to analyze available data and issues and develop our Strategic Plan. The Strategic Planning Team identified many strengths within the parish, including a strong sense of community, welcoming culture, faithful worship, and continued parish growth. At the same time, the parish recognized several areas needing improvement, particularly religious education, youth involvement, communication, stewardship participation, leadership development, and parish facilities. The team also acknowledged opportunities created by growing interest in Orthodoxy and regional growth, while recognizing challenges
posed by secular culture, economic pressures, and the influence of technology.

We do not believe our resources to implement this Strategic Plan are scarce, given the
extraordinary God-given talents that exist within the faithful of our Parish. We believe we live in a world of abundance. By the Grace of God and with the essential support of the Holy Spirit, we can make a difference and achieve all of our Strategic Goals in the fullness of time. Our future can be very bright if we work together!

To address our Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats we identified two strategic areas of focus and organized a separate Task Force to identify and address goals in each area: Stewardship & Engagement and Spiritual Formation. We have developed detailed action plans to implement these two goals. Click on the buttons to see these detailed plans. If you want to get involved, click on the button for how to plug in.
